VSP- If you are a member of the Vision Service Plan, please be prepared to pay any co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses at the time of service. If you have a question regarding your VSP plan, you can call VSP's member help line at 1-800-877-7195.

Medicare – As of 2010, there is a $155/year deductible that must be satisfied with Medicare before benefits are paid. In some instances, the Medicare supplemental plan will pay this deductible. Medicare pays 80% of the approved billed amount. The remainder is billed to your supplemental plan. We will bill Medicare and your supplemental plan. If there is any unpaid portion remaining after insurance pays, due to deductibles and coinsurance amounts then you will receive a statement.

There is a difference between a vision benefit and a medical benefit. Please research your vision benefits prior to your exam.
